Jawara Roti is a bakery that has been operating since 2016, committed to continuous growth and delivering the best experience for its customers. To enhance its services, this project aimed to develop a digital loyalty system, which the business previously did not have.
The project involved creating a mobile application for customers and an admin system for efficient management. My role in this project was as a Product Designer, responsible for feature development and acting as a communication bridge between the internal team and third-party UI designers. Additionally, I took on the role of UX Designer, where I structured the user flow and designed the user experience to ensure an intuitive and seamless interaction for users.
This project not only focused on digitizing the loyalty system but also on ensuring a smooth integration between business needs and the technology solutions developed.
The biggest challenge in this project was understanding Jawara Roti's specific needs while also identifying the pain points experienced by both their employees and customers. Additionally, integrating key features with third-party services presented another layer of complexity.
Although I can’t disclose all the details, this aspect of the project was one of the most exciting. It required me to conduct interviews with various stakeholders and invest significant time in research to develop a well-structured product. Beyond that, I worked on designing an optimized user flow that not only ensures a smooth and intuitive user experience but also effectively supports Jawara Roti’s marketing strategies.
Overall, this project was a success, measured by both user satisfaction and the seamless experience reported by those I interviewed directly. I also gathered feedback from Jawara Roti's employees, who stated that the new system improved their workflow efficiency by 30%. This positive outcome reinforces the effectiveness of the product in addressing their operational needs while enhancing the overall user experience.
